(DK)
Hey, where do you think you're going? You come back here!
Monkey:
Huh? Me? What do you want anyway? What did I do?
DK:
You’re dressed like a ghost!
Monkey:
Yeah, that’s right. So what? It’s a Halloween party, isn’t
it?
DK:
Yes, it’s a costume Halloween party alright., but we don't
allow any ghosts at our party. That’s too scary. The only
ghost we welcome is the Holy Ghost.
M:
Oh Yeah? Why is that? Who’s he?
DK:
The Holy Ghost is your friend. He wants to help you. He even
helps you read the Bible, and he’s like your teacher. If you
don't understand something, he'll tell you what it means, and
he also puts his arms around you and cheers you up when you're
sad or lonely.
M:
How come I never saw him? I get scared and lonely but he never
had him come to help me
DK:
You can't see him, Silly. He'll’s invisible, that’s why he’s
called a ghost but he’s not like other ghosts we've heard
about or anything. He’s the HOLY GHOST. He comes from God
and whispers to your heart about Jesus.
M:
Gee, he sounds nice! I wouldn't mind meeting him. How do you
do that?
DK:
It’s easy. You just ask Jesus to come into your heart and he
sends the Holy ghost to live with you, and from then on he’s
there to show you the way.
M:
All right already. I'll just take this silly costume off and
I'll go as a monkey.
DK:
But you ARE a monkey.
M:
I know it and you know it, but THEY don't know it. See you
later, alligator!
DK:
Boy, he must be blind, I'm not an alligator! Well, now that he’s
inside, Let’s join the party. The show’s about to begin!
(Pause Music) (Monkey appears and looks around. Is approached
by another animal puppet (.Example: Cow)
Cow:
: Hey, that’s a great costume. What’s new with you?
M:
Well, you won't believe what happened to me, coming in.
C:
What?
M:
I was wearing a ghost costume and I got stopped at the door.
C:
Well, sure. Didn't you know we weren't having any ghosts or
witches at our party?
M:
Naw, no one told me, but I found out something really neat.
C:
Yeah? What’s that?
M:
I found out about the Holy Ghost. I'm sure glad she told me
about him. I'm gonna ask Jesus into my heart so the Holy Ghost
will come and help me. I'd kind of like to have a good friend
I can trust.
C:
Good for you! Let’s go tell the other kids what happened to
you when you tried to get in as a ghost.
M:
Yeah, and let’s be sure to tell them about Jesus and the
Holy Ghost too.
